In the late 90’s, one of my college roommates got an internship at Demeter Fragrances in NYC. She would come back to the dorm in the evenings with fragrances for us to sniff like Dirt, Coffee, and Thunderstorm, to name a few. During this semester I didn’t realize it until much later but I was honing my sense of smell and love for luxury fragrances. After all these years, I can still be transported back to my door on W27th & 7th when I smell certain fragrances (like il Baccio, Angel, and Versace Blue Jeans). This is the power of fragrance and the reason why i’ve included fragrance in the KGB assortment.

What are KGB’s favorite notes to work with? Citrus (Petitgrain, Mandarin, and Bergamot) and earthy base notes like musk, tobacco, birch bark, and sandalwood that are inspired by places in New York City and Bay Area California.
